That said, I had a silver Starion as my first car and hoo boy was that not the most fun way to start my wrenching history. Ten years old and finding parts was probably no better than it is now, maybe worse. Still, coolest pile of trash I ever owned. 80s digital everything, big silver buttons on the headunit and steering wheel, and a rich leather smell that would punch you right in the snoot the moment you opened the door. Oh, and the millisecond you hit 3k rpms the turbo would realize it had a job to do and guess what kid you're now in the ditch/on top of a 6" concrete road median/facing the wrong way on a one way.
Man I am glad this is nowhere near Cincinnati.

I have a rust free hood in my garage. The cutout issue is probably the wiring for the secondary injector. The tbi setup really hurt these cars, along with that lazy ass big 4cyl. If Mitsubishi ever made one mistake, it's not using the 4g63t rwd in these cars.
