I mean that has everything cool all in one. Camper, Ramp truck, Square body, Manual, 6.2 Diesel. Curtis is wondering why he's getting aroused right now just from the thought vibes he's getting.
I saw that and decided that the mention of rust was enough for me to close the tab. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention...

You should buy it and then a few years later tell me that you don't want it anymore.
Could use floors and rockers just like everything older.
Not here in Florida. I'll never buy another vehicle from the rust belt.

There are people in the US, that thinks everyone has that problem? He don't get around much, do he?
Sadly, I've seen so many FL trucks as bad, from the salt air
Edit: ok, almost as bad. And as bad if driven on the beach, if that's still a thing

Please tell me the market is not so insane that a partially finished rusty truck, could bring anything close to that?
I really need to get my OBS Superduty fixed and sold!

Problem with valuing something like this is 1% of the 99% of the people like us want an old ramp truck. My old rule is part out value. I see this as 1.5k in parts and 1k in scrap. The question is, is it worth 1.5k in cool and utility?

Good math for a decision, on something like that! As you said, very tiny market, and anyone I personally know, would build there own, unless they wanted nicer than their skills!
'Course with current times, you might not be able to build an half azz one like that, for that kinda money

Honestly, if I had a spot to stash it, you could probably convince me.
I love weird, love it to my core but I just can't see this one. It doesn't appear to be particularly well done, it has rust issues, a bad starter, no brakes and due to it's vintage it is almost useless for just about anything other than taking a car a short distance.
That generation truck is going to be getting single digit fuel mileage so any kind of long trip is going to cost a ton, the ramp backs are cool (I think they are so cool I built my trailer like that) but they can do nothing other than haul a car, it's hard to put anything else because it wants to move. They look cool but those trucks are not friendly to drive as a regular pick up, much less a super long, poor working (if it has it) AC system and the sleeper which probably leaks water, if not exhaust, smells etc.. Oh and then the previous math still holds up no matter what you do to it, there is still no market for it when you are done. If you bought a square body pickup to haul stuff with a trailer at least it would hold it's value or appreciate.
