Wheelbase rule is exempted at the Challenge. They can be as short as you want.

Have you ever seen those when they are raced?? Talk about terminal under steer. They are almost as silly as a Reliant Robin.
Sometimes it is not about the results but the experience.... one of these with 6x HP at the rear wheels would be all about the experience!
