IIRC those had a nice design flaw. That porthole window in the top focuses the sun's rays and will scorch the rear upholstery.

The interior is a lot of the Maserati influence.
This is a 1985 Maserati Biturbo interior (and they didn't age well either.)
These were actually 50 times nicer than a Cimarron, that car was nothing more than a Cavalier with a nicer grill..... These at least had their own bodywork, the Maserati interiors and the turbo drivetrain from the other Chryslers of the time. The Cimarron was exactly the same as a Cavalier except for a nicer interior and the grill/tailights. But both were failures from a sales standpoint. I would say the TC is more similar to the Cadillac Allante as both are an Italian body and interior with the American drivetrains from each manufacturer, but the Allante was more upscale.
