Marketplace - 2006 Zen (zero emission no noise) zen | Facebook Canadian built slow electric vehicles, two of them. ZENN - Wikipedia  1200 pounds with 6  12volt batteries, so pretty light for a bike motor maybe....

I'm sure that they have really good brakes. Maybe even those new-fangled discs!

What the hell is that and why do I so desperately want one?

I checked Facebook, and crashed literbikes are  more expensive than I thought they'd be. 😭

How do you dispose of the batteries?

All ev batteries are recyclable and worth money, but I believe these are lead acid which are easier to find recycling options for. Any battery capable recycling center will take them and some will pay.

Do they even have a brake pedal?  6-12v deep cycle batteries can be replaced with something much more energy-dense, so there's an opportunity for a pretty decent electric runabout here...
