That is cool but unfortunately Ohio has hills that would be an issue with the rabbit on the back...
The popular Subie engine swap may help that.

I used to have one of those. Awesome. Did 0-60 in about an hour and a half.
Note the picture with the Bug in the back is taken from a high angle to de-emphasize the fact that the rear is sagging a lot- that's pretty overloaded.
It would make a great shifter kart hauler.
The tie-downs really concern me. They look like they would be rated for about 300-400 lbs.
If that thing was ever in a wreck (even a fender bender), that car is coming THROUGH the cab.
I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but there is no way I'd ever haul a car with it.
I just realized- are those braces attached to the rear bumper?? That's a terrible idea.
I'm lowering my weight estimate by a factor of 10. 
You obviously want it badly. Just get it.
I love those things. Doubly so the double cab. I would not begin to dream of pondering the possibility of using one as a car hauler.
I think about the biggest car you could safely haul with one of those would be something like a Porsche 550. IIRC they're actually rated to handle a 1000kg payload, but something like a bug is too big to balance correctly.
