Look at the floor. Mildew or moss. That thing is not worth it at any price.

I feel that I should admit I recognize the underlying awesomeness of this car.

It's just that the awesomeness is lying under a whole lot of stuff I can't fathom dealing with...

Butt the ad says it's very "rear". I do concur, Floridian CL user, that looks like ass.

Yep. I know those old Vette wagon Greenwood conversions are rare and have a following, but this car needs a LOT before it's a whole car again... plus, the various aesthetic changes would need to be un-done like the tail lights (relatively easy) to the front lights (not so easy...).

There was a very nice example for sale on Hemmings a couple of years ago with an asking price of $125K. Who knows what it eventually sold for, if at all:

I like Vettes. I love wagons. But bringing this car back would definitely be a labor of love. While my google-fu is failing me in my attempt to find a running example for sale, I'm guessing it would cost a lot less than the work required to bring this one back.

Man, I don't know if it's the alignment of the stars, a full moon, or the will of God, but you and I are agreeing way too often lately.

They used to sell a "Camaro" nose for these things and it looks like this may have one of those, or at least home grown copy of an already horrible idea.

Some guy (or previous owner) in my area ruined his Corvette by installing the same Kit. I see it at local cruise nights all the time. I can't help but think he took away at least one of the zeros before the decimal point by installing it.

I like everything but the frontend treatment. If the price was much cheaper, like 1k or so, I'd be all over it.
