Like every other iteration of installing replica old car body panels onto late model E36 M3, this sucks (in my eyes, at least). I like the old Thunderbirds. I even like the newer Thunderbirds like this one. I do not like this.
i don't hate it, but it definitely needs chrome bumpers. it looks weird with the headlights and taillights defining the overhangs.
A stock 2002 w/hardtop & 137K would drop the leading "1" off the price in the sunbelt all day long. The exterior/ interior colors and the front end are pleasant enough; but everything behind the "A" pillar is a hot mess.
The true, stock form of these cars has grown on me a bit and I don't completely dislike them. This modification is not to my liking. Too much awkwardness. It's not good at being a 2002 T-Bird and its not good at being a 1965 T-Bird. I'd stick more with the genuine of either (though I don't have any interest in a 1965 T-Bird.)
What I really dislike is this fuzzy picture taking style for auto ads.
I usually hate this type of modern retro mashup but I like it much more than any other 2002 Thunderbird.
I have a 1st gen Thunderbird and used a 11th as my daily. This should hit all the notes for me but its all the bad from both rolled into one.
I would not drive it here or there, I would not drive it anywhere.
I do not like blue Tee-bird Shiet, I would not drive it any night.
In reply to iansane :
I dunno, I think maybe driving this into the harbor just to see what happens would improve this one.
