I've got a 91 Miata shell that has replacement front and rear bumper covers (some ninja style something or other) and is otherwise mostly straight and sound. It needs pretty much everything (dash, interior, wiring, top, etc.) if you wanted to make it a street car, but a lot less for a race car. It's rust free and comes with a core 1.6 (was running 5 years ago, unknown current condition, but assume core) and 5 speed. Engine and transmission are loosely hung in place for transport, but otherwise unattached) It has the viscous LSD (probably worn out) the daisies have roller quality tires to get it on a trailer, but I wouldn't expect them to roll much further than the trailer. It's in N. Florida.

I'm unlikely to build the intended race car from it any time soon, I'd rather let someone else do so and gain a little space and maybe a few bucks.

I can get photos next week, and can probably maneuver it out of storage in the next few weeks, but until then I'm just gauging interest.

The title is an open Louisiana 'rebuilt' title (it had a light front ender that popped the airbag about 20 years ago). I don't know if this differs significantly from a 'salvage' title. I wasn't terribly concerned with the title status as I intended to build a race car, but not long after acquiring it, I started having kids and (coincidence?) less time for doing things like building race cars.

If the buyer is so inclined I also have a small stockpile of performance parts I'd be willing to sell with it, but I'd like to sell the shell before or with the parts, rather than the other way around.

Pics will be a few days at least, finishing a couple things at the house and won't get to the property it's stored at for a few days. Price: As it sits as described above, Although I did forget to mention the dented and mismatched hood. Also the bumper covers aren't pained. For a GRM'r I'd like say $1000? That's less than I paid for it back when. Obviously that's without the parts listed below.

Performance parts include an early set of adjustable shocks, (can't remember brand, but single adjustable and either 4 or 8 settings I believe) Hollow front anti-rollbar with bushings, SS braided brake lines, a basically complete early vintage Bell S3 intercooled turbo setup (might be missing nuts or bolts, hose clamps etc.) with Link ECU and both keypad and laptop connections. A separate megasquirt that I've never used, and I don't think was used when I got it, and a couple of other oddball add-ons (like a control box to add an extra injector) At one point much of this was running in a different '91 after a friend wrecked it. I did drive the car before he wrecked it and it was very quick. He parted the car after the wreck and I got most of the goodies. I might have some other stuff, I'll have to dig for it though.

Unrelated I gotta ask is the username a grammatical error or a sly play on words?

To Many Projects , cheers let's buy more cars!

Too Many Projects, I own more projects than I can deal with and should/need to sell some.

Either way I can can certainly relate.

Thanks for catching it. It's both;

The wife and I were talking one night and she commented that I was well on my way to having too many projects. In response I lifted my glass (of water probably) and said "here's to many projects." She said something like "yeah, cause that's what I meant..." rolled her eyes and walked away.

Double entendre and dad jokes are my ply in the humor trade. The bad grammar is just a bonus that often acts as a vehicle.
