These are fun rigs. A friend and I just went in together and bought 9 FJ40s to resell. Various condition and drivetrains. Some with the original 6, a few with SBCs, and one with an SBF. My personal one has an aluminum headed sbc and is a lot of fun.

Yeah, I miss mine. Off-road champ. Not much fun over the road but overall great.
