Posting this for my dad, located in Central MA/MetroWest area.   I don't want to post up his contact info but I'll get you in touch with him.  He would prefer to sell the car, parts, trailer and the sled as one unit.  Those in NER for awhile will probably remember the car; it started out as a road racer and my dad picked it up for autocrossing; we both were able to trophy at a couple National Tours as well.  He did a lot of development and work on getting noise levels down to meet strict Db limits at Devens and other courses.  Also he doesn't note it, but it has a Quadrini 4 link rear end with belt drive.

1987 KBS Mk3 serial #3, with trailer and working sled with spare engine, $4700 OBO. Now set up for autocross, with 100% Ackerman and short wheelbase (73”); great on tight courses. Rotax 493 engine with reverse, wrapped Hulings exhaust with Corvette muffler to meet sound check. Makes about 100 HP and weighs ~565 lbs without driver. Primary clutch is Polaris, modified by Quadrini (QRE). Willwood brakes with balance bar. Was very competitive, winning FM championships: 2000 NESCC and 2005 SCCA NER with Kawi 440, then 2008  SCCA NER with the 493. Includes multiple sets of wheels, parts, and custom tools. 1987 KBS Mk3 serial #3, with trailer and working sled with spare engine, $4700 OBO. On 2000 Triton Aluminum Utility Trailer with slide-out ramps and spare. Easily towed by a 200 HP car. Car and dog not included.

2002 Ski-doo Grand Touring 500cc for spare 493 engine, has only 02325 miles in New England.

Bumping this now that we're past the holidays.  Who wants to pull some G's?

Just discussed with my dad; he's leaning towards keeping the SkiDoo now. He's flexible on price if you're interested, and will separate from the trailer if you already have an enclosed. The current minimalist setup tows easily behind a car, minivan or SUV.

Yeah I had thought  about it too. I'm actually sad I can't keep the car in the family, but my neck couldn't handle indoor karting with alot less grip.

I'm pretty interested, pending sale of my kbs mk7 road racing car, and of course being able to get up there. But if it's still there in about 6 weeks (possibly sooner) I may be able to make the trip

Excellent, I don't think he has any time crunch on it, more a matter of 'move this on to someone who can enjoy it' with a hope that they'll take it to Solo Nationals at some point.

I'll PM you his contact info
