I had this in a 350hp car. It was overkill - went with the 200 instead.
Since I replaced it with another one, the sock is still new and all the mounting hardware is new. The gasket is still serviceable.
The mounting prong is uncut - it was installed at full depth. The 340 is the big red pump in the picture.
