After 9 1/2 years of running my F500 I've decided to sell it.
It's a 1987 Novakar running na 494 Rotax engine.
I have numerous spares for it
2 spare 494s plus 2 additional rebuildable engines, spare set of wheels tires, ignition boxes, 2 sets of carbs, sore clutch belt etc.
I autocross and vintage race this car so.you could use it for either.
$5500 OBO

Yes and no. It depends on the club; I've had one group allow it but local SCCA say no unless we got enough open wheel cars to make a separate run group.
For what it's worth I wouldn't run an open wheel car with full body cars no matter what the sanctioning body says.

Having done so, I strongly agree with this. Never had any incidents (thanks to attentive trackmates) but even with a bright red led light shining forward on the top of the roll bar, it seems very risky. Pictures show the top of my car barely at door handle height of most production cars, so nearly invisible to them.

Up until about 5 years ago I was still doing the occasional motorcycle race so my version of what's safe for me isn't always the best guide.

BUMP
I want it gone $4000 to any GRMers.
For what it's worth, these are the Pinnacle of cheap speed in an easy to work on package. There is rather good support via a very active Facebook community. Fresh purple crack (Hoosier slicks) have only just crossed $1k a set and the cars are so light on such wide tires they last a long time with most ageing out before wearing out. While the two stroke may sound intimidating, they are some of the easiest engines to work on, I have heard or replacing pistons without removing the engine from the car in under two hours at an event. The only special upkeep I have regularly had on mine was cleaning the carbs at the beginning of a season. I haven't had anything deeper than that on the engine in 4 years running mine.
$4k is a great deal on a ready to run car.
Do you have this cross posted on the FB fmod group? I'd make sure it's listed there too.
The only things faster at an autocross are AM, BM, FSAE, and KM. The ONLY one that MIGHT be cheaper is KM, but the chiropractor bills will make it more expensive!

Yes, the fact that these don't beat on you like a Kart is why I bought one.
The reason for selling it is it looks like I won't be doing much autocross in the next couple of years and the fact that two race cars is one to many.

Well it's sold to a fellow GRMer.
Thanks again to the hive.
