Not having a good week and just want to get rid of some cars. Bought last year on a tip. A guys carport/shed came down in a storm and crushed it. He didn't report it so it is still a clean title.
2002 Porsche Boxster base 2.7 -74k miles
Runs and Drives, has some sort of aftermarket exhaust with possibly a small leak. Starter over runs sometimes. Brand new Porsche battery and has been on a NOCO charger 90% of the time.
Windsheild frame was pretty damaged and I planned on caging it so most has been cut away. Top destroyed as well and it broke both windows in the doors. Just about every panel has dents creases. And some poor attempts by me to straighten.
Bought new Depo red/clear taillights. Needs the drivers side circuit board, that was crushed beyond saving. Has an aftermarket radio. A/C blows cold.
Fix it, part it, whatever.
I paid $2250 (car), $200 (battery), and $200 (taillights).
$2500 and it's yours (But I'm going to keep the NOCO battery charger/tender)

If one were wanting to do a kart build is there any good body stuff left that could be parted?

Not much. Only non-crunched body parts are front bumper and passenger door looks ok, but the window is gone.
"Someone" should part that down to a running driving shell so that "someone else" could buy it for a Challenge eligible price.

Someone should put this under a karman Ghia. Sadly I am not that someone this month. Maybe in December.. please someone buy this before December.

Something like that could be done by someone I'm sure.
I'm sure 200# of bondo will shine that baby up.
It's kinda disapointing that there are no 962 kits to take advantage of this
$1k and ill run it in the $2k challenge? Need the other k for budget.
The lights couldnt be made to work enough to drive? Say a magnetic "tow" set hooked to the rear?
Thats just dumb....too dumb right?

Just think bigger and more hammers. Still work in progress.
That's pretty impressive. How do the front and sides look as of now?
The driver's side was always the worst of it, got the door too by the handle. And of course the windshield frame being destroyed. The passenger door and front bumper were the only untouched pieces. There was part of the mount for the front bumper that kinda bent and was causing a ripple in the bumper, but a little adjusting made that better. Hood has a small crease it. If I pull the front fenders off, I could work them over a little easier.
Man, I'm in Georgia. If you were closer I would snag this.
I want it, but my dad says no. LOL
A cheap Porsche. *sigh*
I'm broke and too far away. Or maybe I just don't want it bad enough.

Oh my, YES!
BTW, does anyone else see the Batmobile from the 1960's here or is it just me?
This is haunting me. When do you need it to leave by? Anyway you can sit on it for a while?
Isn't this like a great start to an FP car or am I missing something?
I sent you an email last night. Let me know if you didn't get it.
Hey Dan0, I'd like to pick this up from you,
Thanks, Vince .
ps. Can't message you yet, cause my new member status is pending.
