I'm the second owner of this fancy schmancy minivan. Technically it's the "Toyota Sienna XLE Limited AWD." It was the top of the line for its day, with supremely comfy soft leather seats, radar cruise, sliding moonroof, all wheel drive, you name it.
The good:
- It's in really nice shape inside and out, no rust (surprisingly for a Michigan car).
- Rides very comfortably
- Most of the doodads work well
- T Belt changed 3 yrs ago at 183k miles
- comes with a spare set of worn Blizzaks on 16" wheels
- Beast in the snow
- It's been rock solid reliable for the 221,000 miles so far
- Yes, there are lift kits available
The needs:
- small exhaust leak
- needs new rear brake pads soon
- small oil and power steering leak - not enough to do much about
- passenger sliding door is manual only - power cable broke and I haven't fixed it.
- heated seats are now heated only by your own body heat
I have it listed for $4000. I could be talked down by a GRMer. Photos here!
That would be an awesome dad van. Radar cruise on a Toyota in 2004? Impressive

Yeah, it works surprisingly well too. We upgraded to a new Pacifica which is a great van, but I'll really miss the ultra-cushy seats in this Toyota. They're like Barcaloungers.
I wanted to lift it but it makes no sense having two minivans.
Of course if someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse on my Accord V6 manual sedan, I'd consider it.
I personally would not consider a Pacifica an upgrade, but I may be biased.
TIL I want a lifted AWD Toyota minivan some day
I was just thinkin’... it would pull a John boat out at the ramp nicely!

Yeah they are easy to lift. I've been looking for a awd 07+ (facelifted +2gr power bump). They are great vans. Ultra reliable, cheap to maintain, can even fit 4x8 sheets. GLWS
I had one of these up to 200k miles. Very reliable when we sold it.
We had to manual the doors as well. They just break and are expensive as all get out to fix. Keep a pair of side cutters in the van for when one door fails in the open position and you're out and about.
Other than that a good car
My 06 Sienna has been the best vehicle we've ever owned. Now our is only a plebeian LE FWD model, but I love it. We only have one power sliding door(passengers side), and knock on wood aside from the latch solenoid crapping out (replaced with $20 amazon part) it has been problem free. I'd love to have the Limited with all the doo-dads, but perhaps having the poverty grade model has allowed it to be more problem free. My sister-in-law had an 06 like our, but the fancy Limited AWD one like this, and it used the stupid run-flat tires that she had to replace like 4 times, and then gave up on the van. I kept telling her to just get regular tires, but she insisted that it needed the run-flats.
Are you guys seeing any oil leaks in the v6 - RMS or valve covers ?

My 06 is a FWD 3.3 litre with 190k miles, and no oil leaks at all. Maybe I'm lucky.

Same. Mine at 200k wasn't perfect but no leaks.

This one has oil weeping from valve covers but not enough to reach the ground, certainly not enough to add any between changes. We run regular tires with a fixaflat can and compressor in the car, knock wood. Come to think of it, I think the new Pacifica is the same - no spare and no run-flats.
It's been a great van, just "needed" something newer for my wife.
I love this color on the Sienna. Of course now I want to "upgrade" to an older Sienna with 30k more miles on it. Lol, I'm an idiot.

When wives get something in the mind only one thing works.

Agreed. I hate the colour white, but we have had 3 white cars, all Lexus, including our free RX, and the pearl white is fantastic:
