History
I acquired car #47 from the previous owner (a retired doctor) in AZ in 2012. He had campaigned the car in the AZ region SCCA Spec 944 class for several years however had to sell due to health reasons. I took the car on a few track days and was planning to campaign the car in AZ, but a move to NV interrupted my plans. I “winterized” the car in 2018, but another upcoming move even further from a track is forcing me to sell.
I recently “de-winterized” the car and it started right up. Recent maintenance performed includes:
- Timing Belt Inspection
- New Gas (Tank Was Drained)
- New Oil
- New “Coolant” (Distilled Water)
- New Antigravity lithium Battery
- New Toyo Proxes RR (On 2nd set of wheels - Date Code Nov 2020)
- New G-Force Harness
I would personally have no issue tracking the car as-is, however it would need to be re-inspected prior to entering a Spec race. Sale includes the old logbook, tech form, and dyno sheet (142hp at 250’ elevation with aftermarket chip), so my guess is there wouldn’t be any issues with re-homologation. This said, SAFETY ALWAYS COMES FIRST ON THE TRACK, and I would encourage the new owner to inspect/replace all safety equipment prior to racing.
