Well it looks like I might be hauling ass from Wisconsin to the PacNW later this year, so my daily driver 744 turbo has to go to make room for a wagon of some kind. I also miss rowing my own gears a bit...so I am really looking to sell, but if you have a wagon to trade I might be interested, especially if it's a manual.

1988 744 turbo. I bought this car from an engineer for Lycoming (helicopter company) who brought this car up from Texas and had maintained it meticulously for most of its life. Virtually no rust and washed regularly. 142k miles on the K-block B230FT. Recent timing belt replacement, been running Shell Rotella T6 synthetic and the car seems to love it. "Stage zero" with lots of new vacuum lines, new trans mount, valve cover gasket, IPD poly accessory mounts, etc. Does have a little bit of the cold piston slap these are known for, but goes away totally when warm. IPD lower front brace, IPD poly bushings all throughout the front end too. Recent brakes on all four corners. AW71 shifts strong and has no issues. Great heat (no idea if A/C works, but the compressor seems to kick on). Interior is pretty nice, driver's door map pocket has a crack but all other panels are intact. Heated seats, but only passenger works. Dashboard back lights have all been converted to LED. Has a nice Kenwood HD Radio/Bluetooth stereo, Infinity speakers, and an 8" low profile active sub in the trunk. Front end has been converted to E-codes with DJAuto clear corners. Currently rolling on Dracos with General Altimax Arctic snow tires. I also have a set of Hydras that need refinishing, and a whole bunch of other spare parts I would include in the sale for my asking price. Only problems with the car are that it usually leaks a drop or two of oil when parked, and the driveshaft center support bearing makes a little noise on below-zero days; I drove it to Upper Michigan and back with no issues like this, but I think a replacement may be due by the end of the year. Not a big deal at all. Hop in and drive anywhere!

Asking $3000; located in Milwaukee, WI. May be able to knock the price down if you don't want the stereo, the Hydras, or if you have something to trade of course. I wouldn't be selling this car if a move wasn't imminent, but now I need a wagon so it is what it is.
