+1
EDIT- it's a scooter- something like a Vespa.
It's and Indian made Vespa clone. The factory made them under license from Vespa right up until.....maybe 2008? They're quite well made, at least as well as the Italians made them. 150cc two stroke and four speed transmission shifted by twisting the grip. They top out around 40 or so stock and are an absolute ball.
I have one in the garage too.
This is essentially it. I cant figure how to put a pic of my from my computer on here. Mine has a DR 177 big bore kit, Mazzuchelli crank and Sito plus pipe. They are fun to ride and make great pit bikes. I have too many scoots since I work for Genuine Scooters and Scooterworks Chicago so I am looking for something different. I think with the updated production techniques the Stella is better than the Vespa ever was. They are called sh!talian for a reason. haha I know it is a long shot but figured someone has a Mini project to trade.
That is a pic of the 4t. Mine is a 2t. Two stroke factory top speed is about 53. Mine hits in the sixties. Weight is a determining factor.

You dont say. Very familiar with the company. The Buddy 125 changed my life and got me hooked bad on scooters. Did not know i could go from a 1000cc sport touring bike (FZ1) to a 125cc scooter and still have the same thrill and goofy grin after a ride.
What do you do at the company?
Nice shifty! I'm a Buddy rider myself. Wouldn't mind a Stella someday.
I worked in the dealer and warranty side for a while. I have been the service manager and lead technician for the past few years. I know my way around these to say the least. haha. They are fun and great pit vehicles for the races but I have several and I am looking for something new. I know the cooper project is a long shot but worth a try.

I see you have a ruck. I am currently designing parts for Ruckuses. It is a grassroots effort but if you ever need anything let me know.

Wait til you try a stella. They have 24 hour races on these in europe. Draggin knees and everything. Ego isnt needed. I ride what i like just for fun. No need to be a hardass life is too short for that. I get a lot of crap for riding a scooter but who cares.

I'm not sure what a modified (or unmodified) Stella sells for, but in the US "project condition" classic Minis often sell in the 3-4 thousand range. It's pretty nuts. Beetles aren't much better anymore either.

I'm having trouble selling mine for slightly more than that unfortunately, although I haven't tried much past the local craigslist.

Is that the one with the cylinder problem. I would totally get that in a heartbeat.
While I do understand that they go for the 3-4 grand range. I also understand that some wiggle room should be had in trading a perfect condition, hop on and go vehicle that needs nothing for one that may be missing key pieces or could be misposted as being something it isn't. Running is running. Running vehicles have more value than none runners. So the projects come down to about three and we have a deal. Haha. Not stepping on anyones toes or anything but I feel that unless it is a 50's Ferrari value is somewhat fluid.

Nope, mine is running and driving, just needs some rust repair and general refurbishment of some parts.

Maybe 6x6 at the most, there is surface rust around it though so I would just replace the panel if I was doing it.

LOL. It'll probaly be sold by then. Put it on MiniMania. It should sell pretty quickly at that price. I wish you were selling it back in May... would have saved me a lot of $$$.
