Interesting you mention that, there used to (mebbe still is?) a thread on Pennocks that highlighted the similarities betwixt the Fiero spaceframe and the EV1 spaceframe.
GM is known to recycle ideas/parts/engineering. Is this the follow-on to the 2nd Gen Fiero we never got?

Use a Bolt drivetrain and battery pack to keep it "all in the family"? Or piss everyone off and use a Tesla drivetrain?
