Most interesting is, "Does Virginia Tech have a school sanctioned Lemons/Champ team?" It's being auctioned this way because it seems the university owned the car???
Best of all, the listing gives an email to a student who will answer questions. Usually things like this come with no ability to ask questions or get facts about parts used.
I was in ME at Virginia Tech and Formula SAE was the only senior project that was a racecar, that I knew of. (And that was a little more competitive than my GPA allowed for, unfortunately.)
But that's been more than a year or three.
Seems like that was a steal. Wish I'd have paid closer attention to end date of that auction.
