Alright..

I haven't given up completely. But timing is bad right now with trying to move. So I'm going to see if anyone wants to take this off my hands.

Working on putting the ad together.

This is going to take me a bit and i don't wanna put it all together and then accidentally lose my page and have to start over. So this is the placeholder while i build the Ad.

Build Thread is here.

I will only sell all of this together for $4k

Ok receipt Breakdown. of that $4k total

$400 for the bottom end of the K20z3
$200 for the head of the K20z3
$50 for a set of ugly stock '09 Civic Si wheels, receipted for $12.50 a wheel.
$450 for the 2145 17 BFG Comp 2 AS tires on that have maybe 1k miles.. they're basically brand new. i bought them with the BFG 150 sale in feb not realizing the TL brakes wouldn't fit under the civic wheels even with my spacer.
$400 for the 17x8 Acura TL reproduction wheels from Wheelership, receipted for $100 per wheel.
$500 for the used set of 235 45 17 Michelin PS4S that i ran for an Hour at MSR Cresson end of march. These have shoulder wear on the fronts but have deep tread all the way around and the rears are a little shoulder wear. but not much
$800 for the Autopower Race rear half cage/roll bar, brand new and uninstalled
$175 each for the pair of NRG fiberglass fixed back seats, total of $350
$125 each for the Buddy club sliding seat rails, total of $250
$100 for the half inch spacers on the front of the car.
$500 for the car with the brembo TL calipers installed on it. car has GLOC r10 pads in the front calipers, they're included in this as well.

the brand new GLOC R8 pads i have for the rear are not going to be receipted as a part of this. but will be included with the sale.

This setup would allow someone to Take the car to the challenge as it sits for the following receipts

install stock driver seat back in the car.

$500 for the car with the brakes on it.
$600 for the engine currently in it.
$100 for the spacers on the front
$200 for the front TL wheels
$25 for the rear Civic wheels.

and do whatever you want for tires.

OR, someone could find a junkyard K24z3 and put that bottom end under this head if it's straight and still be in the challenge budget by not using the bottom end of the K20z3. i reciepted them separately on purpose

The bad:

Car has a coolant leak on the front of the engine somewhere that I have not tracked down yet. the engine may still be leaking coolant into the oil as well. don't know if its internal to the engine or if its a head that's warped.

There is a rear caliper that i believe the e brake is not fully retracting on. make some noise on occasion when i first start driving. i believe it was the driver side one. but i worked on it 2 months ago and I've not touched it again since so i don't remember which side it was. you can fix this for free within the challenge budget with another stock caliper.

if you want to tune this car you'll need a Flashpro or K tuner. the flashpro is not hard mounted in the car and is therefore exempt from the challenge costs.

Realized i forgot a few parts.

Whole sunroof assembly I pulled at the junkyard and a ex coupe rear trunk will both be included in the sale for no extra cost.

I have covered pretty much everything about this car in my thread. But if you want pictures of anything specific. I can provide them as needed.
