It's actually pretty clean too. What it that on the top.of the intake,  though.  I'm on my phone so can't blow the Pic up enough to get a good view.

Was thinking that.  Needs side drafts and delete that hood scoop. Otherwise I love it

I really didn't need to see this. Now, I know I'm going to be looking at cages and cheap seats

No title, it says - it also says he has the registration to track down the last owner and see if you can get a title from him......this kind of BS means it's strictly a track car from here on.

I'm missing something here: How does the engine interface with the stock MG transmission? Kawasaki Ninjas are all chain drive systems and the power needs to make a hard right to get into the trans. And, and, and, MG Midget transmissions have enough trouble with 50hp let alone the 125 or so the Ninja 1000 is going to put out. But before that's an issue all the powa needs get transferred to the input shaft. Peez 'splain, Loosee...

Transverse engine RWD with a longitudinal transmission. That's interesting! Way cool

Is it possible that is a shaft drive motorcycle? I didn't think ninja was but a different 1000cc bike may be.

Later K bike engine might work. Shaft driven

Some sleuthing leads me to believe that's a concours 1000 engine. Concours is shaft drive so it makes sense

Good call. That likely means the car has both the bike and MG transmissions. Which could be fun - sequential AND reverse!

It does look like the concours was a detuned ninja 1000 motor, so maybe like 100 hp best case instead of 125. But maybe has more torque?

Certainly more questions than answers with this one

So instead of a Ninja 1000 motor, we've got a Concours motor which is probably more suited even though it has about 100 ponies. Looks like it's about a 20 speed with the five in the Kawi box and the four in the MG box along with five reverse gears. Obviously this is not the case since the idi... I mean guys that built this probably didn't wire up the Kawi box and just put it in fourth (or third) and then shift the MG box from the cockpit.

This begs the question: interface between Kawi and MG boxes? And looking at the incredibly stupid intake system (oh wait, there isn't 100 ponies on tap, it's more like 50) the alignment and E36 M3 they did for that is probably less than stellar. It would have been better to make a driveshaft to plug directly into the motorcycle engine and figger out the shifter for that.

And that's why it's still for sale. Truthfully, the entire package is worth about 500 bucks. IMHO, of course...
