Wow, NMNA

At first I was ready to barf and then I looked a little more and I think it could be not heinous with some tweaks. This car is the perfect example of 80% there but the details matter so much to the finished product.
Trying to mimic an 037, but missed the mark with the details. I like the concept, but the execution leaves something to be desired. I'd have tried to make it look like the 222D Group B Toyota instead.
Better headlights, better taillights and a better front grill and a good paint job and that would look pretty decent. Not correct but cool in that homemade sort of way. I would not put Lancia badges on it though.
In reply to NY Nick :
Couldn't agree more. Just a bit more polish and that turd would be cool.
Kinda like when the road kill boys stand back and squint and you know it's going to be pretty good, like stubby Bob. That car is a stand back and squint, fix a few things and hang a turbo and turbo scoop out the trunk away from being cool.
Honestly, This looks like an awesome start to a lemons car. I can just picture it out there in a lemons race.

Given the lettering on the back they were going for this.

I like this suggestion. And any time the car breaks down and there's some "custom" bodywork in the way, just rip it off.

Agreed. And, that's not really a classically good looking car either. Super cool but not pretty. With some tweaks that MR2 would make an excellent Lemons car.

I am surprised!
I think that comment is more likely to happen when the car is desirable.
