That's the spirit. For a young driver of any gender, a hard pass. For a fun 'ice cream car' I'd rock it. Toss the kids (or grandkids) in the back after dinner on a sunny summer evening and cruise into town in, err, 'style'. Cool.
I still find it funny that this continent see's old Euro cars as all being unreliable, while Europe see's old American cars the same way. I think it really comes down to the fact that the knowledge and parts base is missing for cars from the 'other side of the pond' making it somewhat true in both directions.
