its a TR-6
its under a grand
its in Delaware
whats not to like?
I've always said that TR-6s are one old car that never got cheap. I don't think I've ever seen one for a thousand bucks before.
In reply to Woody (Forum Supportum) :
I have but they are less "tr-6" than they are "FeO-3".
This is the kind of thing I could make a big mistake on if it were close to me. The tr-6 might be my favorite looking classic roadster.
"Has some rust."
I do not have a problem believing that. Back in 1991, I bought a parts car for $500. It was completely original, but the body and frame had almost literally rusted in half. The engine and gearbox we're rebuildable, but the pieces left after being stripped went to the crusher. The hood lives on my current TR6, however.
This one may be worth the asking price, but I doubt it.
First of all, if this was closer to me ... okay, a lot closer to me, I'd be all over it cuz I have the same problem with TR-6's that previous posters have alluded to. I love 'em. Can you imagine this thing with a K24 swap?
Second, this cracks me up: You're advertising the car and taking pictures to SELL it. And you can't invest the 20 minutes required to remove the GARBAGE piled on top of the item you want to sell? Sh*t, if they took another hour and did a quick wash, it would make a huge difference. Damn, some people are incredibly lazy!
