Was the Mugen version just an appearance package or were there performance upgrades as well?

I'm not the biggest Honda geek, but as I recall it was largely cosmetic.  Maybe special wheels.  That seemed to be the biggest complaint that I remember when it was announced.

Exhaust, different suspension tuning, wheels and body kit. 

You just never see them for that price, to the point that it sounds like a scam or there is something else that the ad is not mentioning and its the reason its been sitting for the last year and a half. 

If it was near me I would go look at it, and if it had no rust I would buy it. 

There is a guy who had one last week on Craigslist $16,000.  
 

I looked up KBB and I believe they were in the $10,000 'hood?   Why sell for half? If 

This does seem like too good of a deal. I'm surprised it's still for sale. 

Wife is kinda encouraging me to do this.

Even if the motor in the car is bad or dying this is still a solid buy if the chassis is not rusted and is in good condition. 

You could swap a K24 into this pretty easily if the stock trans is still good. 

Someone in the Chicago area needs to move on this. If it's not a scam or rotted out underneath it could be a steal. 

with the paint condition on this car This has the potential to be a equal deal to hazmat for the rarity and miles.

This is juuuuust a bit farther than I'd drive for a "looks interesting" car shop.  I can't decide whether that's a good or bad thing.  

I wonder how much Vape and Weed has been smoked in that interior.

I dont know, the potential to double my money quickly would make me ignore the distance and any possible smells within.

Price seems ok. Other than the Mugen thing- it's a beat 11 year old civic from arguably one of the WORST lines of Civic with 130k on it. Guy just wants it gone.
