I think it's actually evolving, though. I remember it as white and in more pieces. 

I legit really really want this thing, but there's nfw I'm paying more than $2k for it.

That seems like the right price for this eyesore.   It is truly aesthetically challenged.   But I bet it handles poorly to make up for that.
