The Google's says it is a one off car built by someone in Texas over 4 years. He must of been pretty good with fiberglass! I don't love all the styling elements but the quality looks really nice.
That popped up on some aggregator site like board panda or cheezeburger the other day under one of those 'these people shouldn't be allowed near cars' lists or something.
I'm glad you found that add for some more pics. Styling has the right idea, but lacks in execution which shows how hard it is to get proportions right on a full car. But someone put a lot of effort into that and it shows. I'm sure the price is pretty reasonable for the work and quality, but unfortunately I fear they will have a hard time getting that much for it.
It's not the best looking car, yes, but at $15k it's an amazing deal per hour of time obviously spent on it. I am amazed at the Chrysler LH car drivetrain. Such a bizarre choice. I do wonder how it is to drive. Should be a blast and would be super fun to bring to a cars and coffee.
I know the guy that built it. I mean, I wouldnt really say demented, but maybe a little.
He wanted to build his own car and did. This is the result.
I didn't dislike it until I got to the full frontal pic. The Chrysler drivetrain choice is... questionable. But I'd rock the heck out of it if it was straight and true. You can tell the build quality appears to be very good.
It's sort of like a Pug- they're so ugly, but you can't help but sort of want one.
The Chrysler drivetrain does seem like an odd choice, but... It was used in the Prowler too. But, there is was a F/R application rather than this rear (or mid) application.
