My step daughter and step son both live in the Buffalo area. This thing is seven and a half hours from them. And they are about 18 hours from home.  Guess I could drop the wife off with one of them and say, "see ya tomorrow".  Hatching a plan, still working on details. But it will be at least March before we go up there.

I'm curious what the history is behind this car. Islip Speedway had a ton of cars in its day.

With the trans, the quick change and the front hubs, that isn't a bad deal at all. It's kind of unfortunate it is missing so much of the body but that has a lot of good parts to get started. Vintage Modifieds are awesome.

It's junk.  Sitting on flat tires on soggy muddy ground for who knows how long.  Chances are the frame will be rusted out from the inside, as will the 'cage'.
