Why are you selling the road monster? How'd you like owning it? Does real world mpg really hit 20? These have always interested me for a family truckster mobile.

  1. Needed something with a bit more height in the rear. Went from Roadmaster to Promaster.

  2. Loved it dearly and will miss it greatly. Super reliable. Lovely to drive. Cheap to fix. Lots of kitschy American style.

  3. with no trailer on the freeway, yes. Low 20s are possible and common in Florida. If things get hilly I can't make any promises.

In my mothers 1993 (read: No LT1), she would regularly get 17-18 city, and 22-24 highway.

Note that this was before they started putting ethanol in all the gas.
