Probably. One of those Saturday morning car shows showed how a new type grill-headlight can be replaced with the older style; the headlight holes are actually round. Maybe this guy went the other way.
Actually, the M715/M725 series shouldn't have any grille at all. The Razor style grille was swapped on.
And as said, the same core support was used through the entire run of the FSJ, so grilles can be swapped all the way from '63-'91.
