Floor pan shortened forward of the shifter, unlike a Manx where you shorten in the rear and shorten the shift tube equally.
WOW that was a lot of work , .......
I had a "Movie Car " Kubel built on a VW floorpan many years ago , it was 90% correct as far as the body lines and looked right 20-30 ft away , perfect for a back ground car.....maybe for Rat Patrol.....
There was also a company in New Mexico that made a pretty accurate replica.......
and the single prototype built by Bruce Meyers and owned by Dave Deal .....
That is really....... Unique...
