I paid a lot of attention to cops in the 70's, but I don't ever remember seeing a Valiant cop car.
I think the Monaco was the go to in 1974.

Dunno, Adam-12 had a big Rambler before they got all Mopared up; so a Valiant may not be a stretch.

Adam 12 had Belvederes and Satellites from '67 onward.
'72 AMC for season 5. Top one is the patrol car, bottom is Malone's own car. (which got hit the first day it left the show room).
