I have a surplus of these blue towels. I use them as shop rags. They are extras left over from the surgery center at a local hospital. They're like new--they're just something the hospital doesn't want to bother with sterilizing--not that they need to be sterilized. What happens is when the surgery room is prepared a copious amount of these rags are made available. Any that are used are trashed. Unused also get trashed unless I intercept them.
I'm now overflowing with these things. They measure 13" x 17". They are, in my opinion, way better than the standard red shop towels. They can also survive being washed over and over.
I'm just looking to move these--how about $1.00 each. If interested, You can message me on the board or my email is johnmpruner@gmail.com
My wife was a surgical nurse and brought me these things, she pointed out that they are very good at "soaking up"...um...things. They are. I have one roll left, and she hasn't been a nurse for eleven years.
Yeah...they are super durable--and absorbent...
Come on guys--help me clear out my garage of these things. I'm open to offers.
I would help, but my wife brings those home for me and others from her work (she's a surgical tech). They do make excellent shop towels, or kitchen towels, etc. they are fairly soft and very absorbent and you can wash them over and over again.
If you don't have a hookup already, definitely pick these up.
I was hoping for an entertaining story. Like the time someone passed me the nearest shop towel to wipe the transmission fluid off my face and the next thing I heard was the garage owner asking me why I was rubbing his old underwear all over my face.
On second thought, you wanna package some of those up and send them to my friend?

My dirty underwear or some towels?

The ringer can not look empty.
How many can you shove into a USPS pre-paid box? Maybe you could do a deal for $25 = 20 towels delivered.

I used to work for the largest importer/supplier of those things. I'm fully stocked.
Those OR (operating room) towels really are excellent shop towels.

I can do a little better than that. Email me at johnmpruner@gmail.com
I would like the same deal if possible.
Okay, before we go any further guys I have to let you know that once I wash and dry these things they apparently shrink to 13" x 17". They kind of wrinkle up. They won't get smaller than that though.
Sent you an email, I could use a box of these too

Same exact boat. But I actually like the plain old red rags. Old habits die hard.
Got a big box-o-rags today. Looks like I'm stocked up for the next few decades.
Thanks!
Come on guys--I need room in my shop! Start throwing some offers at me.
