So not a y pipe for a v configuration but a pipe for a straight 6.
What's your zip code?

I haven't posted on this forum since 2013 and it's post like this that remind me why. I'm sitting here trying to justify buying this . Is 16 hours round trip really that far

Nah, not to far at all! Depends on how much ya like road trips. I love the adventure of it. Sadly, at 56, I had to start pretending to be a grownup, so no road trips fo a while
There's no way this is still for sale, is there?
if it is, think it would survive a fly n drive to Ohio?
In a word, "perhaps". I do daily drive it back and forth between towns, so it is fairly reliable. It looks like I have done a little more work to the truck since I posted this. I put sound deadening in the cab that helped a lot. And cleaned the carpet and put it back in. Also put an ignition coil and module on. The truck does need a new motor mount (which I have) and pan gasket. If you have any other questions let me know, thanks!

I do like a challenge, ha! "Fairly reliable" definitely speaks to the best case scenario for kind of vehicles I'm into. A few months ago I tagged along on a fly & drive from Seattle—my buddy bought an '88 camry wagon(manual!) that I would consider to be in far more questionable shape, and we lived to tell the tale. Just replied to your email BTW, if that's your preferred method of communication!

Sounds like a cool score on Camry wagon. I occasionally search for those older camrys too. And also just search "wagon" periodically lol. Anyway, I need to look back through the post to see what I've mentioned. Some highlights just in case, no AC, stiff suspension, poor hood alignment, rough paint, speedo not working, currently running without front sway bar. Newer transmission may have you thinking of smooth shifts. Thar is not a feature of any M5r2 transmission, in any condition. Just want to be straight up on the...uhm features of the truck. Are you interested in any of the engine parts I have? I'll post a couple more pictures.
I thought I had a picture of the interior with the seat in. I'll try to take one tomorrow, there is a pretty good chunk out of the seat bottom on the drivers side.
Shot an email back, here's hoping we can make this work!
Mentioned it to my buddy Joe(with the camry) and he's figuring out if he can tag along. As much as I like fly n' drives, might be nicer(smarter?) to have a chase vehicle full of tools.
This is the big chunk out of the seat. The mystery stain was either before my time. Or spilled coffee from the lack of a cup holder.
