1993 Miata with a modified Greddy turbo system installed.   180k miles and rust free.   The turbo system uses an FMU and NB injectors, according to the wideband gauge it stays slightly to the rich AFR.   Pushing 16 psi at 5,000 rpm.

ACT clutch and lightweight flywheel.  New motor mounts, rebuilt shifter, all fluids, and VMaxx coilovers.  Kosei K1 wheels.   Hard Dog roll bar.  Serviced the AC (works great) and replaced the speedo cable (squeaked).  Newer vinyl top with a glass window.   Power windows.  New stereo with Bluetooth.

There may be more that I'm forgetting, this is my 6th Miata and I've only owned it for 2 months.   I found another one that I think I want more so I need to get my money back before buying yet another toy.

I'm thinking $7,000 isn't unreasonable given it's rust free nature and collection of mods.

GLWS, looks like a great car! Quite a collection of turbocharged Miatas recently on the GRM board.

Bump.

I dislike the harnesses in it and am thinking of replacing them with racequip.
Should I do the clip and beak type or the camlock style?   Does my potential buyer care?

Anyone have any questions about the car?

Not quite what you were getting at from the title, but enjoy. ;)

Am I off on the price or is it something else?    I know this is a small audience so I get that as well.

probably just a slow time to be selling and it's a special buyer car since it doesn't have a competitive autox class or anything like that to anchor it.

Price seems pretty good.

a few more photos, underhood shots and other stuff probably wouldn't hurt.

bump.  Also I just replaced the recalcitrant Tanaka harnesses with flashy red Sabelt camlock harnesses.

How tall are you?  Because you are failing the broomstick test in that picture....I'm just curious since I always assumed I'm way too tall for a Miata.

Honestly. You need more pics and details and the specs and mods.

Is the checker board painted on or vinyl? Some people want a nondescript street car. What are the suspension, brake, wheel/tire specs?  How about telling us more regarding the scoops on the hood.

We're probably also interested in  interior and under hood pics. Under car too.

I'm not a serious buyer, but that's all stuff that I'd need to see before I'd even consider buying it but that's just my two cents.

The car looks like fun. Glws.

That pic is of my son.  He's 5'11"

the car currently has factory seats, they sit quite high.  Most tall people replace them with something else for additional headroom.   In my first Miata I installed a Momo Corsa seat and had a mile of headroom.   Even my friend who is 6'4" was able to drive it comfortably (although he was about an inch over the broomstick height)

A number of those questions are answered in my top post.   The checkerboard graphics are airbrushed on, it's definitely a flashy car.  There aren't any hood scoops, that effect might just be an optical illusion where the hood meets the headlight pop-ups.

Thanks! I have the torso of someone who is normally 6'4''-6'5'', so I guess that means my suspicion that I would have to lower the floor to fit is correct.  Bummer, because a turbo NA would be perfect!

Dave, You would definitely need a drop floor. At 6'1" with shorter torso, I'm borderline. Doc, who I bought the car from, is the same height but it sounds like more proportioned like you needed a drop floor it make it work.

In reply to Dave M (Forum Supporter) :

Well, mine was also on factory sliders still.  There is a good bit to be gained by bolting a seat directly to the floor.

But it's certainly a process.  You should find a Miata modded for someone your size and shape before deciding if one is right for you.  They are really tight cars that have to use every inch of space and what fits one person might not fit another so well.

Yeah. I'm going to end up with a Cayman and a whole lot less money in my pocket.  I just keep dreading the inevitable!
