Pic for the visual.
I know of a nicer one than that. It's a manual car that's running. For not much more either. Former GRM guy is selling it. No one ever wants to buy these cars though lol.

Sheesh, the guy is looking for better than four large on that and he can't take the time to wash and dust? It'd probably look pretty good with an hour of effort. There's no accountin' for stupid...

I'm with you. I get the barn find angle, but mold and mildew are NOT selling points.

I believe its because the rear suspension is very oddly built and cannot be easily aligned.

nicer one for a little bit more. Interesting that I never saw these in manual earlier but suddenly I'm seeing several for sale at the same time

These things are extremely complex and depreciated hard. It's really hard to justify having expensive, specialist service work done on cars with so little monetary value so they laid up for any number of reasons or left trashed. There's a number of articles written about what they're like to live with and they don't seem easy to keep in good running order.
My dad has 2 non running 928's (1 manual, 1 euro spec automatic) because CIS is a pain on these cars.
