Yep, something like that.....................

Funny thing is, I already have 2 convertibles, but she doesn't like them. That's why I said a "nice" convertible that she would approve.

This one is too loud, among other things. http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/my-new-rebuild-the-mongrel-miata-20/99962/page1/

And this one isn't exactly the safest thing to go romping around in. http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/rotuslotus-7-replica-powered-by-a-mazda-13-b-turbo-dads-summer-toy/101891/page1/

BUMP $7,100 ***

I've been away from home for a month(no she didn't kick me out) and have been conversing with a few people, but had no access to take additional pix or any measurements. Now that I'm back, I've returned all emails and phone calls.

I would like to make a concentrated effort to find the car a new home. I have cleaned up the bodywork, removed all of the stickers but the checkered flag, the nose is being repaired and repainted white and I have purchased an original fiberglass adjustable seat so now someone with 30" inseam can fit.

Any chance of letting us know what the new owner has in mind and does w/ the car? That sounded like a screamin' deal, I really, really liked that car but couldn't justify draggin' more stuff home when I'm thinin' the herd.

Oh, and congrats on the sale.

any chance it was a it a GRMer??

Was intentionally staying away from this thread, it looked like too good of a deal. Glad it found a home.

I'm glad it sold. That was a good deal. I still wish I could have it in my garage, but just not in the cards at this time.

It was a strange deal, but its now living in Woodstock, GA. Nice guy, but no idea what it is, it's capabilities or what is involved in tuning/suspension set-up on a race car. Oh well, hopefully he will learn.

I was hoping to sell this one and also "thin the herd", but that didn't quite happen. Since I hate dragging an empty trailer anywhere, a Lotus 7(Lo-cost project) followed me back to PA........
