Some sort of strange but cool sports car for $1000. NMNA

Miura is/was that Brazilian brand that did weird mashups, isn't it? They had that one that looked like a classic Mustang had a drunken night with a Fiat or something?
Did a tr7 rear end a 924, and no one-click get them apart? Or is that some nission or Mazda front end.
But price is right, just not right now, for me. It looks like its only an engine swap away from being a fun toy.

I'd almost pay the asking price just for the wheels. Those are berkeleying rad.
Definitely looks like a TR7 mated with several cars from the 80's including a first gen RX7 and possibly a Supra. I do like the VR6 idea for it!
I just want someone to get confirmation from the seller as to whether or not the pop up headlights work. I'll wager that they are inoperable.
Brazil had many small car companies , partly because there was a 200% import duty on imported cars ,
Puma was probably the best known one , but there were many others ,
If it was out West I would probably buy it !
Maybe I missed it, but I'm not seeing any mention of the model year. Always have to wonder if you can title it here, or if it's new enough for the feds to crush it.

The Miura Targa is an early 80s car. Manufactured from '82 to '88.
These cars seem to be obscure enough to not even have a Wikipedia page.
I'm troubled by the fact that this is only $1000, and I've already dragged my trailer to New Jersey to bring cars home on four separate occasions.

As close as I could find......Miura Targa | Classic Cars Wiki | Fandom

I is not RHD, that steering wheel is not attached to the car, just laying in there.
There's some Puma cross-pollination in that roofline. Given the fact that it's VW based and Brazilian, I wonder if there's a closer connection?
