You want a neon. Trust me. They're a miata with torque and a roof.
Bring to the challenge next year, and we will have the neon battle.
Do it!!!!

i was application engineer for the calipers / rotors / pads on the 1g neon. i know they're a riot to drive in anger, and the additional power plus limited slip would only make it more so.
In reply to AngryCorvair (Forum Supporter) :
Buy this and ill put $100 on being faster dynamically than you on used and old 200tw without the limited slip. I'll even leave the bottle off.
In reply to Dusterbd13-michael :
i'm not buying it. but if i do, let's key swap so i can beat you in both cars.
Stuck it up on CL just to see what happens.
Next order of business is to move some things around so it can hang out in the garage if it's not gone before snow comes.
Oh and I forgot I've been borrowing the battery out of another car since I'd taken the old battery out of the Neon to put in a different car to sell.
So it will probably have a new battery. Big important stuff.
hmmm, no need for this thing at all, but it looks like fun and a steal. If you were closer to FL, I'd be trying to buy it.
Someone buy this and take it to the challenge next year so I get a chance to see it again without buying it back myself!

If it were in FL it would be sold already.
Well I still have it.
I did an oil change before they came to pick it up and found some fine metal shavings on the magnetic drain plug this time. Let the prospective buyer know and they ultimately decided to pass.
So... new price is $1500 for everything.

Oh, I see you have the same luck I have....

It's all good. She said she probably would have still bought it if she wasn't looking for something that would be daily-driver reliable right away.

No photo, sorry. It wasn't a lot and I'm not sure I would have noticed without the magnetic plug but it was enough to be worth mentioning. There was also some glitter in the oil filter. I did try to get a picture of that but couldn't get the bits to show in a photo
I'll try to shoot you a text after I get the kiddos to bed.
You'll need to log in to post.
