A 10k FV? Sorry, but unless it has a ton of victories, it's WAY over priced.

Oh man. This one is right down the street from me.

It is soo tempting.

It is a vintage car, not one that would compete in current SCCA Majors, etc.   That said there are a lot of vintage events and they are less crash prone.

Clues are it still has generator and fan housing, and treaded tires.

OBTW, current competitive FV engines in SCCA go for around $10K.  surprise

For top notch, fresh ones. Put a few hours on them and the price goes down dramatically. It's a ton of $$ for very little hp

Probably a fun car to race in SVRA and the likes. Though the speed would get boring fast.

I'd sell my vintage HP Spitfire with logbooks back to the 70's and a very nice winning pedigree for a few thousand more. There is a very rare vintage FV on ApexSpeed, a TSR that looks like artwork, for $7500. I looked at the TSR before buying the Spitfire and I'm not sure I made the right decision .
