NMNA. I had a cranberry colored one, very nice bike. That little glove box on the left is deep enough to drop in a thermos of coffee and wedge it in place with a newspaper. =~ )
PSA: Do NOT grab the bars standing next to the bike and hit the starter unless you have a good grip and well balanced stance. It rocks.
I had a '94 R1100RSL... these are great bikes. These and the 1150s are the last of the analog BMWs. A true 'gentleman's express'... designed to cruise all day long at 80+mph.
Went to Canada for a weekend with my brother and two of his friends, they all had Harleys. All weekend it's, "Hey, when ya gonna buy a real bike?" Coming home, about 10 miles after clearing the Border it started to rain. Those big fat summer storm drops that hurt when they land. They stopped for gas (I had a 6 gallon tank); Bob gets off his bike and a quart of water falls out of his lap. I toggled my windshield up & down, "Hey Bob, when ya gonna buy a real bike?"
"Hummphmuddafodmn ......"
