Belongs to a guy in the local mazda club. He bought it recently but I think he decided that stewardship of this vehicle was too much responsibility.

Hit the wrong key when I was trying to enter the price into the subject and it posted prematurely.
$7800.
Hooooleee crap.
If I had a nice dry storage spot somewhere I'd be all over that, what a time capsule. Just gorgeous.
Yeah, seems under priced. I will own an rx7, girlfriend even likes it but unfortunately don't have that $ to swing.
Some odd things on the car though. Why would a car with that low miles need new springs, and shocks/struts? Also hatch struts on a car that is a heck of a lot newer than my 78 which is still using the factory units? Something seems a bit odd to me. I have 91k on my 78 production car, and it doesn't need that sort of stuff replaced.
It does look nice, and maybe I am off on my values, but I thought maybe the price was high. Have I been out of the market that long? I mean I look all the time, but never really to purchase so I guess I don't pay attention to the prices too much. I guess these are pricier than the early ones still(even though it's a lowly S model)? Don't understand why, but they usually are. I have a friend with an 84 GSL that has even lower miles on it, and is basically all original aside from the battery. He even boasts that is has Japanese air still in the tires. I tease him that it's too bad it isn't the right model, and it's missing a dash and two letters. I wonder what that one is worth? I'll never find out though as he will not part with it.

My '80 only had 50k on it when I bought it and it needed rear shocks, an idler arm, and hatch struts.
However, mine sat in the Georgia sun for about 10 years and then sat in a garage for another 10.
