I called.  He bought it from the guy who owned it when “the motor went bad”.  No actual diagnosis though, could be almost anything.  He says it runs but is down on power, no knocking from the bottom end.  Lowest he’ll take is $600

Understood. I would be on this one myself, if didn't already enter into an agreement with a Craigslist dude.  I'm going to pick up a drivetrain donor Wednesday night. It will make the 8th vehicle on our property.  So many projects, so little time.

I just WIKI ed this car, Impresive,   212 mph at Bonniville in 2003,   C&D say's Brakes are in Porsch Teritory,   200+ horsepower avail.

For 600 bucks could be  fun.

Would be something I'd be interested in playing with as well if I didn't have way too many things (mostly non-vehicular) to deal with at the moment myself. :/
