No, it's not. One of the guys I worked with is a HUGE Honda Fanboi. Bought one of these first chance he could. Traded it 8 months later. IT was heavy, slow, the auto is truly tragic and 28mpg was the best he could manage. IT's soooooo close to being something great but so far away.
The plastic still being adhered to the side sills and floor mats is not a selling point for me. You don't want to leave that stuff on for too long. That said I am really tempted by the Tsx wagon. Just wish there was a manual V6 option.

Hell, ANY model with a manual would have been better than what they gave us. The original idea was that the 2.4/Auto would be first, followed by the CRDI turbo diesel with 6-spd manual option was to follow. Never happened.

But they never made one.
I looked at those too. What sucks is they offered the 3.5L V6 in the sedan, but wouldn't offer it in the wagon with a stick. Yet you can get the Accord with that combo. If they had made a V6 6spd TSX wagon, I'd have bought one a long time ago. If ANYONE would make something like that, I'd be all in. Mazda, you listening???

I was going by the ad that says it has a manual trans. I drove a sedan with a manual.
Yeah, the ad is misleading but you can see the auto-stick instead of a real shifter. These things were heavier than the sedans and IMO the 2.4/6spd was barely adequate for the sedan. The auto wagons were dogslow.
In reply to Bobzilla:
So true Bob. My sister had an '06 TSX 6spd manual and it was disappointing how not fast it was for an otherwise nice and comfortable car.
