As some of you may know, I switched things up and bought a new car, so my awesome 2.0T Camaro needs to find a new home. The details…
2016 Chevy Camaro 1LT 2.0T 6-Speed, 22K miles, Hyper Blue with gray cloth, base model with no options, I’m the original owner, always dealer serviced, garaged since day-1, excellent condition. Set up for SCCA autocross in the DS class and includes the following…
• 4) 19x8.5 Forgestar CF5V wheels in Gunmetal Gray, 27mm offset, with mounted 275/35-19 Bridgestone RE-71R tires with about 50-60 autocross runs and about 3K miles
• 4) 18x8.5 TR Motorsport C4 wheels in matte gray, 30mm offset, with mounted 275/35-18 Bridgestone RE-71R tires with less than 20 runs (6 of which were in monsoon conditions in Lincoln)
• Custom lightweight 3” SS exhaust, currently straight-piped with no muffler, sounds great with no drone.
• Custom alignment, -2.0 degrees negative camber in front.
• 3-way adjustable OE ZL1 1LE rear sway bar.
• 3181 lbs on the SCCA scales at Nationals with 1/8 tank of fuel
• Original wheels/tires/exhaust/sway bar included with sale
This simple set-up has been enough to secure too many wins to count, including back-to-back Pro Solo overall class championships, and the 2017 SCCA DS National Championship. This car is ready to win for the next owner, and a trick set of shocks could bring out the torches & pitchforks demanding it be classed in AS ;) Or, since the STAC is scared of it, go terrorize CAM-C or ESP with some crazy wide tires, E85, tune and coilovers.
No car is not without flaws, I’d love to say how perfect it is, but…
Actually not much, typical rock chips on the front surfaces due to me being cheap and not doing a clear bra. One 1/4" paint chip above the windshield from a rock, and the front bumper has a small crack due to a cone that wouldn’t get out of the way. Otherwise some typical cone marks still exist from all my co-drivers. ;)
The car still has all the decals on it minus the large Bridgestone decals, but I’m happy to remove everything for the new owner if desired. I also have 2 sets of numbers/class magnets, and included is a Pro-Clip phone mount base and I’ll help you source the right pieces for a great tablet mount. I’m also happy to offer set-up and/or driver coaching to the new owner if desired.
Asking $19500 for it all, which is essentially just over wholesale book. I do have a loan on it so there would be a small delay getting the title.
