I've seen these in the flesh in Europe and they look cool in person (better than in those photos, not that those are bad) but I think it's unfortunate that they're front wheel drive. I think they're more cruiser than hot rod.
For that Volvo freak in the States this is probably an amazing find.

These were the first fwd Volvos. At the time, the line up would have been 240, 740, 960; all rwd. The Volvo 850 (the first US fwd Volvo) had not been released yet. The 850 came to the US as a 1993 model
It almost looks like a Mid Eighties Honda Accord coupe that used a Mazda 323 hatchback tail and hatch.
That red Saab 9-3 Sedan listed lower on that FB page would be a good buy and drive down challenge car.
