Periodically I do an "Austin" search on the local to me Craigs. Actually I do a number of others like "Packard" and "Porsche Turbo" but today's "Austin" search was particularly entertaining.

How 'bout a coupla Bugeyes for Challenge money?

This one has restoration potential especially since it's a '58 AND it's right hand drive! There aren't a lot of those out there.

This one sez it has a Buick V6 and a Saginaw in it but the pitchers show what looks like a BMW 318i four cylinder engine and trans. If it still has the Beemer motor, Instant Gastropod!

Ever have a hankering for MR2/Mini? I knew a guy with one and it was truly ridiculous. Wish I had pitchers of it. Anyway, here's the body for that conversion:

How 'bout a half done Chevy swapped 1954 Healey 100-4? Body looks straight. Lotsa potential. When I was a kid, one of the guys on the race team I crewed on had a 100-6 with a 289 Ford and a C4 auto trans. He let me drive that thing and it was astounding. I believe the engine was over a hundred pounds lighter than the six cylinder Austin boat anchor so it was a berkeleyin' rocket ship. Can you imagine this thing with an LS1?
