Wait. Are you telling me some didn't build this to compete in the $2000 Challenge? Like, they built it for funsies?
I'm not sure if I should applaud them or feel sorry for them. 
That's kinda neat. Depending on how much VW is at the base you could potentially make that AWD with a Haldex setup.
Shame about the automatic. Needs a turbo :-)
There's one running around here with a Jag XJ-6 engine. Oversteer?
