It appears one of my neighbors has gotten serious about getting rid of his stash of Fieros.  I think the price is a bit much, but I also have no idea what the Fiero market is like anymore.

Too much for cars that have sat way too long.

Kind of like buying a small wrecking yard with no property underneath.

The ad says 12 car and that 4 are parts cars.  The pictures however sure look like all parts cars!

I think this guy has the fantasy that somebody will clean up his mess for him and pay him almost what he has into them to take them all away.

He will be more willing to negotiate every time the code compliance officer drives by.

Been there. Done that. Sold it off in pieces over a longer period of time than I wanted for less than what I paid. Had to actually pay somebody to haul some of it off.

I don't see the Indy in the pictures. Hopefully, it's in the garage.

As for code compliance, in this neighborhood, it's highly unlikely.  There are enough potential violations here that if one person goes down, we all go down.

I could see a low mileage Indy in good condition being worth some money. A low mileage any kind of Fiero had got to be worth something.  All the ones I see are trashed.

A bunch of parts cars not so much.

I wouldn't mind having another one with a manual and a V6. Or even some fodder for a V8 Archie conversion. Good thing this isn't in my neighborhood.

Also glad they are not near me.  So easy to get a lot of modern HP in that engine bay.  Some little 300 HP four banger would make for a fun ride me thinks.

Another example of GM not going onward with a good thing.  The Corvair coulda/shoulda been a 911 fighter, the Fiero coulda/shoulda been a Cayman fighter.

Being a self-proclaimed mid-engine bigot i see the potential.  And not sure exactly if $8k is too high.  Unfortunately only 8 cars are pictured.  I like bodies that don't rust.  (not a bodywork guy)

I could see maybe 3 builds out of that pile...

Is this the new home of the g6 drivetrain that just came out of the coolest van ever?

If he decides to sell any single projects (maybe with a parts car) I think he could find buyers here, even if I had to drive that far north for one.

Kinda funny that the Indy isn't pictured, as it could be the (almost) saving grace.  If it's not pictured and those photos are used to entice someone, I can only imagine the condition of the pace car.

It would also be interesting if any have 1988 VIN numbers.   (best suspension)

I clicked on that and got a hearty laugh. Holy crap what possesses you to acquire so many Fieros to begin with? Let alone let them rust into the ground (ok I get that, I'd probably let them rot too)? And then try to sell the pile of junk for thousands?

LOL

You can pick up complete cars at charity car auctions all day long for about $300. Not sure there is much demand for the parts. Nobody is really restoring them. I haven't seen one on the road in years.

If you want a cheap autocrosser or base for a hot rod this works, but you can find them cheaper elsewhere.

For $8k I better see photos of 12 cars.  Some in better shape than what he has shown.
